Spaghetti Aglio Olio | Pasta Recipes

This is the first time I am trying spaghetti and should say I loved this recipe Aglio Olio - only the name sounds a bit alien but its just spaghetti tossed in olive oil, garlic and chilli flakes.....doesnt that sound simple yes its quick too. I agree it does look bland but the flavour is amazing am sure all garlic lovers should give a try! I loved the simplicity in this recipe, do give a try!

Spaghetti Aglio Olio Recipe - Ingredients

Serves: 2
Cooking & PreparationTime: 20 mins

Spaghetti - 1 cup (1/2 packet)
Garlic - 2 tbsp (chopped finely)
Red Chilli - 2 (chopped finely)
Olive oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
Pepper - 1/2 tsp(optional)
Salt - to taste

1.Cook spaghetti with water and salt until soft yet firm enough to chew.Drain water and set aside.

2.Chop garlic, red chillies finely and make it ready. Heat olive oil in a pan then add garlic let it slightly brown then add red chillies.

3.Saute for a minute then add the cooked spaghetti. Stir once and toss for 2mins to combine and switch off.

Season with pepper if you like and serve hot!

My Notes:
  • You can add garnish with parsley or even cilantro.
  • Adjust spice level according to your preference.
  • While cooking spaghetti add little more salt than usual an dont overcook the spaghetti.
