Pulioyodharai is meant for travel but I vaguely remember amma packing puli sadam / puliyodharai for travel as I was not fond of variety rice during my childhood days. But now I love all variety rice recipes that I can even have it daily.....I should admit time and necessity has changed my taste buds :)
When I posted vadams here, I reserved a handful of both vadams for clicking this combo....yes its a proud moment to have your homemade vadams as all these days I was relying only on store bought vadams.

Javvarisi Vadam / Killu Vadam
- Pack the vadams in a aritight container so that it stays crisp.
- Packing in banana leaf gives a nice flavour to the rice.
- You can make the puliyodharai paste the previous day itself. The next day just cook rice and mix it with the puliyogare paste.
