I haven't tried muffins for breakfast, we usually have it for snack time. But when I made this whole wheat jaggery muffins for the first time I loved it so much, even mittu didn't have complaints and had it whole heartedly so why not give it for breakfast when it has all the goodness of whole wheat and jaggery.These days I have been experimenting a lot with cane sugar for baked goodies, though it comes out a bit dense the taste compensates.I baked a small batch and gave her for school snacks
I added a handful full of grated carrot replacing tutti frutti , replaced jaggery with cane sugar and sprinked with chocolate semiya on top.
